He is relatively new to this experience compared to others. He decided to start producing after hearing fellow Canadian dubstep artist Excision, play at Shambhala Music Festival in 2008. He has had several number one releases on Beatport, as well as collaborating and playing with artists such as Diplo, Wu Tang Clan, Bassnectar, Steve Aoki, Nero, and others. He likes to describe his style as dark and robotic, yet funky and gangster. The name Datsik, came from his old Xbox Live gamer tag. He will be playing on Friday.
