Josh Davis, better known by his stage name as DJ Shadow, has put his own style and mark on music production over the years. The man is from Davis, CA, and went to UC Davis, where he was also a disc jockey for the campus radio station. His debut album, called "Endtroducing", was the first album recorded album using strictly sampled sounds. This album was voted in the Top 100 Best Albums of All-Time, in 2006 by Time Magazine. Shadow is known for his sampling techniques, and has over 60,000 records to prove it. A very intriguing individual to say the least. He will be playing on Sunday at Coachella.
