The king of mashups is coming to Coachella on Sunday to help send the party off with a bang. Gregg Gillis aka Girl Talk, is a mashup producer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Known for taking a bad song and making it into musical gold, Girl Talk knows how to get the crowd pumped up. Music was not always the avenue Gillis thought he would be taking. For a while, he was studying biomedical engineering at Case Western Reserve University. Gillis describes his music as "a lawsuit waiting to happen" due to the fact that he uses so many samples and mashes them with other beats.
